1. Affidavit-of-service filed on behalf of petitioner is taken on record.
2. By presenting this writ petition, inter alia, petitioner prays for direction upon the concerned police authorities to register FIR based on complaint lodged.
3. Mr. Bhattacharya, learned senior advocate representing State respondents has filed a communication dated 17th August, 2026 of Officer-in- Charge, Haridevpur Police Station and same is taken on record. Copy of the communication dated 17th August, 2026 is made over to learned advocate representing petitioner.
4. It is disclosed in the communication dated 17th August, 2026 that based on complaint lodged an FIR was registered being Haridevpur Police Station Case No.371 dated 17th August, 2026, under certain provisions of BNS, 2023.
5. In view of steps taken by concerned police authorities
by registering FIR, no further order need be passed on this writ petition and same stands disposed of.
