This petition is filed seeking following reliefs: a) ISSUE A WRIT OR ORDER in the nature of writ of MANDAMUS directing the First and Second - 3 - HC-KAR CNR: KAHC010050832026 NC: 2026:KHC:42870 WP No. 2528 of 2026 Respondents to pay the difference Gratuity amount of Rs.3,76,043/- with 10% interest from 29.07.2022 till the date of deposit and also the interest on delayed payment of Gratuity of Rs.15,858/- to the petitioner by complying the direction issued by the Fourth Respondent, Controlling Authority, bearing No.LOB- 1/PGA/CR-108/2022-23 dated 17.11.2023 as per Annexure-A and; b) ISSUE any other appropriate writ, order or direction as this Hon'ble Court may deem fit to grant such further relief, under the facts and circumstances of the case and an order as to costs to meet the ends of justice. 3. 3. Counsel appearing for the petitioner, on instructions, submits that the rate of interest awarded at 10% may be modified to 8%. When queried by the Court, counsel for the petitioner submits that the petitioner has taken a conscious decision in this regard. 4. Taking note of the said submission, the award passed by the Controlling Authority insofar as awarding interest - 4 - HC-KAR CNR: KAHC010050832026 NC: 2026:KHC:42870 WP No. 2528 of 2026 at the rate of 10% is concerned, is modified to the extent that interest shall be payable at the rate of 8%. The Corporation is directed to deposit the amount due within a period of eight weeks from the receipt of a certified copy of this order. 5.
