Mr.Pushpinder Jaswal, learned Additional Advocate General, accepts notice on behalf of respondents No.1 and 2. 2. The primary grievance of the petitioner is that in terms of Annexure P-2, he has been transferred from GSSS Haripurdhar, District Sirmaur, H.P., which is a hard area, to GSSS Raila, District Chamba, H.P.,which is not a station of his choice, ignoring the fact that not only his was a couple case, but having served in a hard area, he at least had a right to be posted at a station of his choice. 3. Learned Counsel for the petitioner submits that as none has been posted in place of the petitioner, the respondents be directed to adjust the petitioner at a station of his choice and till then, the petitioner be allowed to continue to serve at the present place of posting. 4. In light of the prayer so made, this petition is disposed of with the direction that the petitioner shall approach the Authority 1 Whether reporters of the local papers may be allowed to see the judgment? 2 2026:HHC:11658 concerned within a period of one week from today for his adjustment at some other station(s) of his choice, an endeavour be made to post the petitioner either at a station of his choice or at near by station. As from the date of receipt of representation, needful be done within four weeks and till then the petitioner be allowed to continue to serve at Haripurdhar, District Sirmaur, H.P., i.e. his present place of posting. It is clarified that the stations of choice that will be submitted by the petitioner shall not be in District Sirmour, nor in immediate contiguous Districts.
