1. The present writ petition has been filed seeking for following relief(s):- (i). The Hon'ble Court may kindly give direction to the respondent authorities to appoint the petitioner on a suitable post according to her educational qualification (ii) The Hon'ble Court may kindly consider that the purpose of providing appointment on compassionate ground is to mitigate the hardship due to death of the bread earner in the family, such to redeem the family in distress. 2 no suitable post for appointment supernumerary post must be created to accommodate the petitioner. (iii) The Hon'ble Court may kindly call for the entire records related to the case of the petitioner. (iv) Any other relief which this Hon'ble Court may deem fit and proper in the facts and circumstances of the case be also granted. 2. Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the petitioner has submitted a representation (Annexure P/8) before respondent No. 3 District Education Officer seeking compassionate appointment. However, the said representation has not yet been considered and decided. He, therefore, confines his prayer to a direction to the competent authority to consider and decide the said representation, in accordance with law, within a stipulated period. 3. Learned State Counsel does not oppose the limited prayer made on behalf of the petitioners. 4.
Having considered the submissions made by learned counsel for the parties, respondent No. 3/District Education Officer is directed to consider and decide the representation (Annexure P/8) submitted by the petitioner on merits, in accordance with law, within a period of 6 weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. The petitioner shall be at liberty to submit an additional representation along with all relevant documents, if so advised. 5. It is made clear that this Court has not expressed anything on the merits of the case. 6. Accordingly, the present writ petition stands disposed of. Sd/-
