(Oral) CM-2878-LPA-2026 The prayer in the present application is for dismissal of the main LPAs in the light of the judgment dated 16.04.2026 passed by the Hon'ble Supreme Court of India in Civil Appeal No. 1996 of 2024, titled as ‘Madan Singh versus State of Haryana’. Learned Senior counsel for the respondents submits that the present application may kindly be disposed of having been not pressed any further. However, a joint request has been made by learned counsel for both the parties that the main appeals be taken up for consideration today. LPA-47-2020 and connected cases 1. Learned counsel for both the parties submits that the issue raised in the present appeals have already been considered and decided by this Court while passing the order in LPA-1810-2025 titled as ‘Aas Mohammad and others versus State of Haryana and others’ and other connected case, decided on 23.04.2026’, . Hence, the present appeals alongwith writ petition may also be disposed of in the same terms and conditions. 2.
