Learned advocate representing petitioners submits that on and from 23rd May, 2026 sweet shop, which was being run by petitioners, has been locked illegally by respondent nos.5, 6, 7 and 8. Prayer is made for issuance of mandamus directing concerned police authorities to take steps for breaking open padlock and permit petitioners to run said sweet shop. 3. State respondents and respondent nos.5, 6, 7 and 8 are represented by learned advocates. 4. Mr. Tanmoy Mukherjee, learned advocate representing respondent nos.5, 6, 7 and 8 on instruction submits that said shop was not put under lock and key at the instance of private respondents rather same was locked by petitioners themselves. 5. Having considered the respective submissions made on behalf of parties, liberty is granted to petitioners to [2] break open padlock and run the said sweet shop, if petitioners are legally authorized. 6. Liberty is also granted to private respondents to take steps, in accordance with law, if their right with regard to said sweet shop is infringed by the acts and actions of petitioners. 7.
