Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the petitioner may be permitted to submit a representation before the competent authority and that the said authority may be directed to consider and decide the same in accordance with law. 2. Learned State counsel submits that the issue raised by the petitioner has already been adjudicated by Full Bench of this Court vide order dated 23.07.2026 passed in W.P.(C) No. 1571 of 2020 and W.P.(C) No. 1569 of 2020. It is submitted that the petitioner, being a Kotwar, is not entitled to claim any right, title, or 3 compensation in respect of the Kotwari land held by his predecessors, in view of the law laid down by this Court. 3. At this stage, learned counsel for the petitioner submits that he does not dispute the legal position settled by the Full Bench. However, it is contended that, in view of the aforesaid decisions, the petitioner has become landless and, therefore, he may be granted liberty to submit an appropriate application before the competent authority seeking allotment of a lease (Patta) over a small parcel of land for his residential purposes. 4. Considering the limited prayer made by learned counsel for the petitioner, the petitioner is granted liberty to submit an appropriate application before the competent authority seeking allotment of a lease (Patta). Upon receipt of such application, the competent authority shall consider and decide the same expeditiously, in accordance with law. 5.
