Mr. Rabiuddin Ahmed …for the petitioner This application under Article 227 of the Constitution of India is at the instance of the appellant in Title Appeal No. 61 of 2014 praying for a direction upon the learned Judge, 2nd Bench, City Civil Court at Calcutta to dispose of the said appeal expeditiously. Learned advocate appearing for the petitioner submits that the parties have already advanced their respective arguments and August 14, 2026 was fixed for filing of the written notes of argument by the respondent/opposite-party. He further submits that the next date is fixed on September 18, 2026 for filing of written notes of arguments by the respondent/opposite-party. In view of the order sought and proposed to be passed, there is no necessity to direct issuance of any notice upon the opposite party. However, the learned advocate-on-record of the petitioner shall be obliged 2 to forward a copy of this application along with a server copy of this order, upon the opposite party or upon the learned advocate representing the opposite party before the learned trial judge forthwith. Considering the fact that the argument by the respective parties in the title appeal have already been concluded and September 18, 2026 is the next date fixed for filing of the written notes of arguments by the respondent/opposite-party, this civil revision application stands disposed of by requesting the learned Judge, 2nd Bench, City Civil Court at Calcutta to make an endeavour to dispose of Title Appeal No. 61 of 2014 as expeditiously as possible, but positively within a period of three months from the next date fixed. In the event the written notes of argument is not filed by the respondent/opposite-party on or before the next date of hearing, no further date shall be fixed for filing of the written notes of argument.
