ORAL ORDER
1. Accused in Crime No.122/2026 registered by Adugodi Police Station, Bengaluru, for the offences punishable under Sections 115(2), 127(3) and 69 of BNS, 2023, is before this Court in this petition filed under Section 483 of BNSS, 2023, seeking regular bail. 2. Heard the learned counsel for the parties. 3. FIR in Crime No.122/2026 was registered by Adugodi Police Station, Bengaluru, for the aforesaid offences against the petitioner, based on the first information dated 08.05.2026 received from the victim girl, aged 23 years. In the said case, petitioner was arrested on 09.05.2026 and remanded to judicial custody. His bail application filed before the jurisdictional Sessions Court in Crl.Misc.No.5106/2026 was rejected on
15.06.2026. Therefore, he is before this Court. 4. In the first information dated 08.05.2026 submitted by the victim girl aged 23 years, she has stated that she had met the petitioner through an online dating app on 19.03.2026 and

subsequently, they had stayed together in her address at Coimbatore. Petitioner allegedly misrepresented to the victim girl that he was a NRI and had borrowed money from her. Subsequently, the alleged victim came to know that petitioner was deceiving multiple women by making false promises of love and marriage to gain money. On 28.04.2026, victim girl had allegedly questioned him regarding his conversations with other women and therefore, the petitioner allegedly abused and assaulted her and it is in this background, she had approached the police on 08.05.2026. 5. There is no such allegation in the first information that petitioner with a promise to marry the victim girl, had sexual intercourse with her. However, the offence punishable under Section 69 of BNS, 2023, has been invoked in the present case and therefore, the learned Sessions Judge has rejected the bail application of the petitioner. Petitioner aged 22 years having no other criminal antecedents is in custody from 09.05.2026 onwards. Major portion of the investigation is already completed. Considering the nature of allegations found against him in the first information, I am of the opinion that his prayer

for grant of regular bail needs to be answered affirmatively. Accordingly, the following order:-
6. The petition is allowed.
The petitioner is directed to be enlarged on bail in Crime No.122/2026 registered by Adugodi Police Station, Bengaluru, for the offences punishable under Sections 115(2), 127(3) and 69 of BNS, 2023, subject to the following conditions:
a) Petitioner shall execute a personal bond for a sum of Rs.1,00,000/- with two sureties for the likesum, out of which, one shall be a local surety, to the satisfaction of the jurisdictional Court;
b) The petitioner shall appear regularly on all the dates of hearing before the Trial Court unless the Trial Court exempts his appearance for valid reasons;
c) The petitioner shall not directly or indirectly threaten or tamper with the prosecution witnesses;
d) The petitioner shall not involve in similar offences in future;
e) The petitioner shall not leave the jurisdiction of the Trial Court without permission of the said

Court until the case registered against him is
disposed off.
