1. By the present writ petition, the petitioner is seeking a direction towards the respondents authorities to consider and decide the representations Annexures P-4 and P-5 for revocation of suspension and reinstatement in service.

Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the petitioner was placed under suspension on 30.04.2026 pursuant to a charge- sheet dated 15.04.2026, and thereafter, the petitioner challenged the departmental proceedings before this Court in W.P.(S) No. 3912 of 2026, wherein, by order dated 06.05.2026, the departmental enquiry was permitted to proceed, with a direction not to pass the final order. It is further submitted that the initial period of three months from the date of suspension has expired, but no order extending the suspension has been passed by the competent authority. The petitioner has also submitted representations dated 25.05.2026 and 03.08.2026 seeking revocation of suspension and reinstatement in service, which have not yet been considered. Hence, the petitioner prays that the respondents may be directed to consider and decide the aforesaid representations.

Learned counsel for the University would submit that if the representations submitted by the petitioner is still pending
consideration, the same shall be considered and decided in accordance with law, within a period of 25 days.

4. I have heard learned counsel for the parties and perused the material available on record.

Considering the limited prayer made by learned counsel for the petitioner and taking into account the submissions made by learned State counsel, this writ petition is disposed of with a direction to the respondent authorities/University to consider and decide the petitioner’s pending representations dated 25/05/2026 Annexures P-4 and dated 03/08/2026 Annexure P-5 for revocation of suspension and reinstatement in service, strictly in accordance with law, preferably within a period of 25 days from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
