Affidavit of service filed on behalf of the petitioners is taken on record. 2. Learned advocate for the petitioners appears on virtual mode and submits that both the petitioners are teachers of primary schools. Petitioner no. 1 is working in a primary school in Jalpaiguri whereas petitioner no. 2 is working in a primary school in Nadia. They have submitted applications seeking mutual transfer and grievance of the petitioners is till date their applications have not been considered. Notice of this Court has been drawn to page 23 of the 2 writ petition wherefrom it appears that applications are pending before the concerned Sub-Inspector of Schools. Petitioners pray for direction upon Secretary, West Bengal Board of Primary Education being respondent no. 4 to decide their mutual transfer applications. 3. State respondents and District Primary School Council, Nadia are represented by learned advocates. However, other respondents are not represented. 4. Concerned Sub-Inspectors of Schools are directed to forward mutual transfer applications of the petitioners to the District Primary School Councils, Jalpaiguri and Nadia respectively by fortnight from date of communication of this order. After receiving transfer applications Chairman, District Primary School Councils, Jalpaiguri and Naida are directed to process the same and forward the respective transfer applications to the respondent no. 4 by three weeks thereafter. On receipt of transfer applications of the petitioners from respective District Primary School Councils, respondent no. 4 shall decide the same in accordance with law by four weeks thereafter. Decision to be taken by respondent no. 4 shall be communicated to the petitioners by fortnight thereafter. 3 5. With the aforesaid directions, writ petition stands disposed of. 6. There shall be, however, no order as to costs. 7. Urgent photostat certified copy of this order, if applied for, be given to the parties on usual undertaking. (SAUGATA BHATTACHARYYA, J.)
