1. The family pension of the petitioner being the unmarried daughter of a deceased Group-D staff cannot be paid due to objections raised by DPPG.
2. It appears that the petitioner is required to furnish a fresh current legal heir certificate from the competent authority wherefrom the date of birth of all legal heirs of the deceased employee can be ascertained.
3. On a perusal of the legal heir certificate annexed to the writ petition, it appears that the date of birth of the legal heirs is not mentioned therein.
4. Apart from the legal heir certificate, further certificate from the competent authority showing that the eligible unmarried daughter is not in receipt of any pension from any Government/undertaking is also required and the certificate of stoppage of pension since the death of the family pensioner, i.e., the widow of the deceased employee issued by the Treasury is also required to be submitted.

5. The petitioner has already received the communication of the DPPG dated May 22, 2026 disclosing the objections.
6. The petitioner is directed to provide all the necessary documents to the District Inspector of Schools (SE), Purba Medinipur for the purpose of processing the family pension file of the petitioner.
7. The DI shall take steps in the matter immediately on receipt of all documents received from the petitioner.
8. The writ petition stands disposed of.
9. Certified server copy of this order, if applied for, be supplied to the parties upon compliance of all requisite formalities.
