1. Learned counsel appearing for the petitioner submits that the petitioner is working in Merchant Navy due to which the petitioner has to travel abroad on duty but due to the deletion of the name of the petitioner from the voter list, the authorities are not conducting the verification for which the petitioner is facing difficulties.
2. He submits that the petitioner has already preferred an appeal before the appellate Tribunal being aggrieved with the deletion of the name of the petitioner from the voter list and he prays for expeditious disposal of the appeal by the appellate Tribunal.
3. In view of the submission made by the learned counsel for the petitioner, the Appellate Tribunal is requested to dispose of the appeal as early as possible preferably within a period of four weeks from the date of receipt of this order.
4. Accordingly, WPA 18811 of 2026 is disposed of.
5. Urgent photostat certified copies of this order, if applied for, be supplied to the parties upon compliance with all the necessary formalities.
