The petitioner seeks transfer on self-medical ground. She was checked by the doctors by the Medinipur Medical College & Hospital and as per the advice of the doctors, she underwent operation. 3. She insists for transfer on self-medical ground. Her application is pending consideration before the school authority. 4. The instant writ petition stands disposed of by directing the head of the institution to take for forwarding the application of the petitioner seeking transfer to the concerned District Inspector of Schools relying on her medical report. 5. A decision shall be taken at the earliest but positively within a period of eight weeks from the date of communication of this order. 6. The ground of single-subject teacher cannot be relied upon by the authority to reject the prayer of the petitioner because as per the notification dated 8th September, 2021, application for transfer made on medical ground is exempted from the restriction of transfer in respect of single subject teacher. 7. The fate of the petitioner’s application shall be made known to the petitioner. 8. Suspension of the Utsashree portal shall not stand in the way of the respondents in taking steps in terms of the order passed hereinabove. 9.
