1) Affidavit of service filed on behalf of the petitioner is taken on record. 2) It is contended on behalf of the petitioner that there is inaction on the part of police authorities in taking steps based on complaint lodged. 3) Learned advocate representing the State respondents has filed a communication dated 31st July, 2026 of Officer-in-Charge, Belda Police Station and same is taken on record. Copy of said communication is made over to learned advocate representing the petitioner. 4) From said communication it appears that taking note of the complaint of the petitioner FIR is registered being Belde Police Station Case No. 284/2026 dated 27th July, 2026 under certain provisions of Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita, 2023 and Sections 3 and 4 of the Dowry Prohibition Act.
2 5) In view of steps taken by the concerned police authorities by registering FIR, no further order need be passed on this writ petition and same stands disposed of. 6) However, this order shall not preclude the petitioner to approach jurisdictional Magistrate, if occasion so arises. 7) Urgent photostat certified copy of this order, if applied for, be given to the parties on usual undertaking.
