Counsel for the respective parties advanced several contentions. The applicant's counsel states that the application is filed to excuse a delay of 2335 days in submitting the proof of claim to the Official Liquidator. He argues that this delay can be excused and requests that the application be granted. The counsel for the Official Liquidator states that the office of the Official Liquidator has no objection to approving the application subject to Rule 178 and 179 of the Companies (Court) Rules, 1959. 4. The oral submission made by counsel for the respective parties is placed on record. The application papers were perused. 5.
