By way of this petition, the petitioner has prayed for a direction to the respondents, particularly respondent No.4-Nayab Tahsildar, Patewa, to conclude the proceedings pending in Revenue Case No.202407120300006, initiated on the application submitted by the petitioner under Sections 107 and 115 of the Chhattisgarh Land Revenue Code, 1959, concerning correction of the revenue map in respect of her land situated at Village Khamharmuda, Patwari Halka No.20, Revenue Inspector Circle Patewa, District Mahasamund. 2. Following reliefs have been prayed in this petition:- “10.1 That the Hon'ble Court may kindly be pleased to direct the respondent authority i.e. respondent no.3 & 4 to conclude the pending proceeding of Revenue Case No. 202407120300006 pending before the respondent No. 4 which is to be decided the respondent No. 3. 10.2 That the Hon'ble Court may kindly be pleased to direct the respondent authority who decide the pending Revenue Case No. 202407120300006 upon the application of the petitioner under Section 107, 115 of Chhattisgarh Land Revenue Code within stipulated time. 3 10.3 Any other relief, which may deem fit and proper in the circumstances of the case, in the interest of justice.” 3. Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that despite the spot inspection conducted on 23.02.2026 and submission of the enquiry report on 27.02.2026, along with panchnama and proposed corrected map, the proceedings have not yet been concluded. It is submitted that the prolonged pendency is causing hardship to the petitioner. Learned counsel, therefore, prays for a direction for time-bound disposal of the pending proceedings. 4. Learned State counsel, on the other hand, submits that the matter is pending before the competent revenue authority and may be directed to be decided in accordance with law, without expressing any opinion on the merits of the petitioner's claim. 5. I have heard learned counsel for the parties and perused the material available on record. 6. Considering that the proceedings have remained pending since 03.07.2024 and the requisite spot inspection and enquiry have already been undertaken, this Court finds it appropriate to direct expeditious disposal of the matter. 7. Accordingly, without expressing any opinion on the merits of the petitioner's claim, the competent authority seized of Revenue Case No.202407120300006 is directed to consider and decide the same, in accordance with law and on its own merits, after affording due 4 opportunity of hearing to all concerned parties, within 45 days from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. 8. The authority shall pass a reasoned and speaking order uninfluenced by any observation made in this order. 9. With the aforesaid direction, the writ petition stands disposed of. 10.
