Mr. Ashok Kumar Jena. … for the respondent no. 2. 1. The affidavit of service filed today is taken on record. 2. Pursuant to the directions of this Hon’ble Court, Mr. Jena, learned Advocate, appears for the respondent no. 2. 3. The petitioner is aggrieved that her application for family pension payable to a widowed daughter of a former employee has not been considered. The petitioner is the daughter of one Tarapada Mondal, who was a former employee of the Shyama Prosad Mukherjee Port, Kolkata. The employee expired on May 24, 2023, leaving behind six daughters and two sons. 4. The application of the petitioner, as pointed out by Mr. Jena is insufficient and inadequate as it is not in the prescribed format nor does it take into account the parameters and requisites, which are 2 required to be submitted in terms of the Circular dated September 25, 2012. A copy of such Circular has been handed over by Mr. Jena to the learned Advocate for the petitioner. 5. The petitioner is at liberty to make such application complete in all respects and in conformity with the requirements as stipulated in the Circular of September 25, 2012 to the respondent no. 2. 6. The respondent no. 2 will dispose of such application of the petitioner within a period of eight weeks from the date of receipt of such application from the petitioner. 7. With the afore-stated directions, the writ petition is disposed of. 8. There shall, however, be no order as to costs. 9. Since affidavits have not been called for, allegations contained in the petition are deemed to have been denied. 10.
