The petitioner has filed the instant petition under Articles 226/227 of the Constitution of India, seeking issuance of a writ of certiorari for quashing the order dated 18.02.2026 (Annexure P-6), passed by respondent No.3, thereby declining the claim of the petitioner for opening the sealed cover kept in previous DPC meeting held on 05.12.2018 (Annexure P-1) for promotion of the petitioner to the post of District Manager. Further, seeking issuance of a writ of mandamus directing the respondents to open the sealed cover case of the petitioner and to consider and grant him promotion to the post of District Manager w.e.f. 05.12.2018 (Annexure P-1) with all consequential benefits with interest @ 9% per annum. 2. After arguing the case for sometime, learned counsel for the petitioner wishes to withdraw the instant petition with liberty to file a fresh one on the same cause of action with better particulars. 3.
