The petitioner has filed the instant petition under Articles 226/227 of the Constitution of India, seeking issuance of a writ of mandamus directing the respondents to sanction and release the medical reimbursement claim of the petitioner amounting to Rs.16,09,697/- along with interest. 2. On receipt of advance copy of the petition, learned State counsel has put in appearance on behalf of respondents No.1, 2 & 4 and on instructions from Sh. Shashi Kumar, Senior Assistant, Directorate Office of Health and Family Welfare, submits that the medical claim of the petitioner to the tune of Rs.12,56,752/- has already been sanctioned. He has also produced copy of letter dated 17.07.2026, whereby the medical claim of the petitioner has been sanctioned which is taken on record.
