After arguing for a while, the learned counsel appearing on behalf of the petitioners, submits that the petitioners would feel satisfied in case the instant writ petition is disposed of at this stage with a direction to the respondents to treat the same as a representation and accord consideration to the same within a reasonable period. 02. Mr. Haris Khan, learned Assisting Counsel appearing with Mr. Mohsin S. Qadri, learned Senior Additional Advocate General caused appearance and accepted notice on behalf of the respondents and is not averse to the disposal of the instant petition by treating the same as representation. However, he submits that the representation of the petitioners would be considered strictly in conformity with the law and the rules governing the field. 03. Heard learned counsel for the parties at length and perused the record. 04. With the consent of the learned counsel for the parties, the present writ petition is taken up for final disposal at the very threshold as an innocuous prayer has been made by the learned counsel for the petitioners and the same is accordingly disposed of with a direction to the respondents to treat this writ petition as representation on behalf of the petitioners and accord consideration to the same within a period of four weeks from the date of receipt of copy of this order along with copy of writ petition and the annexures appended thereto, strictly in conformity with the rules and as per law. The order of consideration which is likely to be passed by the respondents be forwarded to the petitioners by registered post. 05. Writ petition is accordingly disposed of along with connected application(s) in the manner indicated above.
