07 19.08. 2026 Ct. No. 18 Ab WPA 17179 of 2026 DVC Pensioners Samaj and another Vs. The Union of India and others. --------------- Ms. Ruchira Chatterjee. … for the petitioners. Mr. Biswaroop Bhattacharya, Mr. Pratik Majumdar. ... for the DVC. 1. The petitioners are aggrieved with the introduction of the new Scheme being the Central Pension Processing Center (CPPC) of the respective banks by which the pension is being paid by the respondent no. 2, to its retired employees. 2. Ms. Chatterjee, learned Advocate appearing for the petitioners, submits that the petitioners may be facing some logistical issue. None of such issues have been substantiated. At the same time, she fairly submits that there has been no reduction in the quantum of pension that is being received by the petitioners nor is the pension being received by the Members of the petitioner no. 1 been adversely affected in any manner. 3. The passing submission made by Ms. Chatterjee, which is not substantiated by any documents, that there is drainage of Rs. 1.35 crores from the pension fund of the petitioners, is based more on an apprehension than on any hard facts or evidence. 2 4. The petitioners have been unable to establish that there has been any violation of any right in any manner by the authority by shifting to the CPPC. 5. Since there is no violation of any right of the petitioners, this writ petition cannot be entertained. 6. In view of the afore-stated, the writ petition is dismissed. 7. There shall, however, be no order as to costs. 8. Urgent Photostat certified copy of this order, if applied for, be given to the parties on priority basis. (Reetobroto Kumar Mitra, J.)
