GP FOR REVENUE The Court made the following: 3 ORDER: This Contempt Case is filed under Sections 10 to 12 of the Contempt of Courts Act, 1971 for willful, wanton and deliberate disobedience in implementation of the order passed by this Court on 17.09.2025 in W.P.No.15516 of 2025. 2. The petitioner has filed the aforesaid writ petition aggrieved by the action of the respondent authorities in not releasing the admitted amount to the petitioner for execution of works related to agreement No.60/2020-21, dated 02.02.2021. This Court, on 17.09.2025, passed the following order: “…In view of the facts and circumstances of the case, and the directions of this Court in various cases and after hearing the submissions of learned counsel for the petitioner, this Writ Petition is disposed of with a direction to the respondents to release the amount to the petitioner in accordance with the quality control certificate dated 26.10.2021 issued by the respondents within a period of five (5) months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.” 3. Heard Mr. G. Venkat Sailendra, learned counsel for the petitioner and learned counsel for the contemnors. 4. Today when the matter came up for hearing, learned counsel for the contemnors has produced a copy of letter bearing No.FIN01- FMU0MISC/350/2022(1778130), dated 19.06.2026 wherein it is stated that the Finance Department has received bill Nos.2026-6844611 (for an amount of Rs.40,42,997/-) and 2026-6846018 (for an amount of Rs.38,21,393/-) for clearance and the said amounts were paid to the petitioner on 19.06.2026 in compliance to the orders of this Court. 4 5. Recording the same, the contempt case is closed. There shall be no order as to costs.
