Petitioner has filed this writ petition seeking for a mandamus directing the respondents to consider the representation dated 12.06.2026 submitted by the petitioner

vide Annexure-E and consequently, issue to the petitioner a legible and authenticated/certified copy of the duplicate copy of NEET (UG) 2019 Score Card pertaining to Roll No.270203510 and Application No.190410299280 or in alternative, direct the respondents to issue an official Result Verification Certificate or any other authenticated official document containing and confirming petitioner son's NEET (UG) 2019 marks, percentile, All India Rank, category rank and qualifying status, as available in the official records of the respondents.
2. Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner and
learned counsel for the respondents.

Learned counsel for the petitioner submitted that, the petitioner's son has appeared in the NEET examination for Undergraduate held in 2019 and he is in need of duplicate copy of NEET (UG) 2019 Score Card pertaining to Roll No.270203510 and Application No.190410299280. The respondents have not considered the representation submitted by the petitioner and hence, pray to allow the writ petition.

Learned counsel for the respondents submit that the respondents will preserve the records upto 90 days from

the date of declaration of the results, as per the Information Bulletin of NEET (UG) 2019. He also submits that, the respondents did not preserve the documents sought by the petitioner in terms of the Information Bulletin. The respondents are not in a position to furnish the records as sought by the petitioner in the representation. Hence, prays for dismiss the writ petition.

submissions of the learned counsel for the parties
6. It is an undisputed fact that the petitioner's son has appeared for the NEET (UG) 2019 examination. The respondents have already issued a score card, admit card and other documents. The petitioner has applied for issuance of certified copy of the said documents. The respondents did not consider the same. The respondents have furnished Information Bulletin in respect of NEET (UG) 2019, wherein it pertains to Weeding out Rules and the same reads as follows:
"Weeding out Rules: The record of National Eligibility-cum-Entrance Test (UG)-2019 would be preserved upto 90 days from the date of declaration of result."

7. Admittedly, the results were declared in the year 2019 and after 90 days thereof, as per the Information Bulletin of the respondents, the said documents will not be preserved. Hence, the said documents are not available with the respondents.
8. In view of the same, by considering the Information Bulletin of NEET (UG) 2019, as the said documents are not available with the respondents, directing the respondents to consider the representation for issuing duplicate copy of the score card and etc., does not arise.
9. Accordingly, the writ petition is dismissed.
