Saha … for the petitioner(s) Ms. Suparna Biswas (Majumdar) … for the State-respondent(s) Mr. Ranjan Kali Mr. Suresh Kumar Sahoo … for the defacto-complainant Learned advocate appearing for the petitioner submits that the defacto-complainant has consistently changed her version along with the documents to suite the necessities of the case with vengeance to harass the present petitioner. According to the learned advocate, the defacto- complainant was well aware regarding the act and actions. Learned advocate also submits that both for the purposes of employment and other promises, the defacto- complainant was coerced to enter into the compromise. 2 Learned advocate for the State opposes the prayer for bail and draws the attention of the court to the statement of the victim under section 183 of the BNSS. Learned advocate for the petitioner questions the documents relating to age proof of the defacto-complainant. Having regard to the issues which have been canvassed, I am of the opinion that the veracity of the documents which has been presented before this court will be assessed at the stage of trial. Having considered the aforesaid, I am not inclined to grant anticipatory bail to the present petitioner. Hence, the prayer for anticipatory bail of the petitioner is Rejected. Accordingly, CRM (A) 2069 of 2026 is dismissed. Parties to act on a server copy of this order duly collected from the official website of the Hon’ble High Court, Calcutta.
