Matter is heard in presence of the learned advocates representing petitioner and State respondents. 2. Though accommodation is prayed for on behalf of petitioner, same is refused having perused communication dated 3rd August, 2026 of Inspector-in- Charge, Amdanga Police Station, North 24 Parganas which is filed today and is taken on record. Copy of the said communication dated 3rd August, 2026 is made over to learned advocate representing petitioner. 3. It is disclosed in the said communication dated 3rd August, 2026 that on completing investigation in Amdanga P.S. Case No.637 of 2025 dated 2nd September, 2025 final report was filed on 31st October, 2025 before the jurisdictional Magistrate. 4. However, a protest petition was filed on behalf of petitioner and jurisdictional Magistrate directed concerned police authority to hold further investigation. 5. Pursuant thereto two persons were arrested but from them stolen articles could not be recovered. Thereafter 2 supplementary charge-sheet was filed on 31st December, 2025 before the jurisdictional Magistrate. 6. It may so happen that by this time Court below has taken cognizance of offence. 7. Since final report and supplementary charge-sheet were filed before the jurisdictional Magistrate, no further order need be passed on this writ petition. 8. Writ petition stands disposed of. 9. However, this order shall not preclude petitioner to take steps, in accordance with law, if so advised. 10. Urgent photostat certified copy of the order, if applied for, be given to the parties upon usual undertakings. (SAUGATA BHATTACHARYYA, J.)
