Heard learned counsel for the parties. 3. FIR in Crime No.148/2026 was registered by Chamarajapete Police Station, Bengaluru for the aforesaid offences against the petitioner herein, based on the first information dated 19.04.2026 received from Pharhad, brother of the deceased. In the said case, petitioner was arrested on 13.06.2026 and remanded to judicial custody. His bail application filed before the jurisdictional Sessions Court in Crl.Misc.No.5940/2026 was rejected on 24.06.2026. Therefore, he is before this Court. 4. In the First information dated 19.04.2026, it is stated that deceased was having thyroid problem and he - 3 - HC-KAR CNR: KAHC010471692026 NC: 2026:KHC:42736 CRL.P No. 10186 of 2026 was taking treatment for the same. The deceased used to frequently fall sick and therefore, regularly he was taking treatment in the hospital. On 19.04.2026, the deceased had committed suicide in his house by hanging himself. In the first information, it is stated that, about one month prior to deceased committing suicide, he allegedly had informed the first informant that, petitioner was mentally torturing him. Except the said statement, there is no other allegation as against the petitioner. He is in custody from 13.06.2026. Under the circumstances, the following: ORDER (i) The petition is allowed. (ii) The petitioner is directed to be enlarged on bail in Crime No.148/2026 registered by Chamarajpete Police Station, Bengaluru registered for the offences punishable under Section 108 of BNS, 2023, subject to the following conditions: - 4 - HC-KAR CNR: KAHC010471692026 NC: 2026:KHC:42736 CRL.P No. 10186 of 2026 a) Petitioner shall execute personal bond for a sum of Rs.1,00,000/- with two sureties for the likesum, to the satisfaction of the jurisdictional Court; b) The petitioner shall appear regularly on all the dates of hearing before the Trial Court unless the Trial Court exempts his appearance for valid reasons; c) The petitioner shall not directly or indirectly threaten or tamper with the prosecution witnesses; d) The petitioner shall not involve in similar offences in future; e) The petitioner shall not leave the jurisdiction of the Trial Court without permission of the said Court until the case registered against him is disposed off.
