Mr.Kh.Tarunkumar, learned senior counsel assisted by Mr.W.Jamon, learned counsel for the applicant submits that while interim order dated 18.11.2025 passed by this Court in WP(C) No.905 of 2025, one seat was directed not to be filled up in the Electronics & Telecommunication Engineering, in Government Polytechnic, Manipur, without leave of this Court. It is submitted that the applicant is at Sl.No.2 in the merit list for the two posts advertised for Electronics & Telecommunication Engineering. However, due to interim order dated 18.11.2025, applicant cannot be appointed. In the circumstance, applicant prays for impleading as respondent No.5 in the writ petition filed by petitioner i.e., WP(C) No.905 of 2025. Mr.M.Rendy, learned counsel for the petitioner has objection. Mr.S.Niranjan, learned Government Advocate fairly submits that application may be allowed as the right of the applicant is affected by the interim order. This Court is of the view that applicant is affected by interim order without hearing her and as such she becomes a necessary party. In the circumstance, MC (WP(C)) No.301 of 2026 is allowed and disposed of. Applicant is impleaded as respondent No.5 in the main WP(C) No.905 of 2025. Petitioner is directed to file recast petition.
