Rahim Sk. … Petitioner(s) Mr. Mrityunjoy Chatterjee Mr. Arka Roy Mr. Debarnab Adhikary … for the Petitioner(s) Ms. Sreshtra Ghosh Ms. Sanjana Jha … for the State-respondent(s) Learned advocate for the petitioner submits that there was no recovery from the present petitioner and, earlier, the petitioner’s bail prayer being CRM (NDPS) 828 of 2026 was rejected as petitioner had antecedents. According to the learned advocate, there was no progress in the trial of the case, as such, the petitioner may be enlarged on bail. Learned advocate for the State opposes the prayer for bail. I have taken into account the overall circumstances and I am of the view that as there was no change of circumstances since the earlier order of rejection, I am not inclined to release the petitioner on bail. 2 Hence, the prayer for bail of the petitioner is Rejected. Accordingly, CRM (NDPS) 1599 of 2026 is dismissed. Pending application(s), if any, is also disposed of. Parties to act on a server copy of this order duly collected from the official website of the Hon’ble High Court, Calcutta. Urgent Photostat certified copy of this order, if applied for, be supplied to the parties subject to compliance with all requisite formalities. (Tirthankar Ghosh, J.)
