This is an application under Section 483 of BNSS, 2023 praying for grant of bail to the accused petitioner, namely, Raju Ali, who has been arrested on 18.02.2026. 3. The petitioner herein, Raju Ali, is hereby seeking regular bail in connection with Jalukbari P.S. Case No.53/2026, under Section 309(6)/3(5) of BNS, 2023. 4. The allegation in the FIR dated 04.02.2026 is that he snatched away the gold chain of the informant at a road junction and the value of the stolen chain was about Rs.1.8 lakhs. 5. The case diary is received. 6. The learned Addl. P.P. submits that apart from the materials in the instant case, he is also been prosecuted and investigated in two other cases pertaining to similar offence of snatching. It is submitted by prosecution that the materials indicate the petitioner to be a habitual offender. 7. In the circumstances, the bail petition stands rejected at this stage. 8.
