The present Miscellaneous Civil Case has been 9led by the applicants/State seeking extension of time for compliance of the order dated 11.04.2025 passed by this Court in W.P.(S) No. 2480/2025. 2. Learned counsel for the applicants submits that although the applicants are making sincere e=orts to comply with the directions issued by this Court, the issue involved pertains to formulation of a comprehensive policy regarding compassionate appointment to the dependents of deceased employees of the dissolved State Road Transport Corporation whose services are under the administrative control of the Chhattisgarh Infrastructure Development Corporation (CIDC). It is submitted that, pursuant to the directions issued by this Court in another matter, the General Administration 3 Department has constituted a High-Level Committee vide order dated 14.07.2026 for examining the issue and submitting its recommendations. Thereafter, the proposed policy is required to undergo inter-departmental consultation, approval by the competent authorities, and consideration by the State Cabinet before it can be 9nalized and implemented. On these grounds, it is prayed that the time granted by this Court for compliance of the order dated 11.04.2025 be extended by a further period of six months. 3. Having considered the submissions advanced and on perusal of the application as well as the documents placed on record, this Court is satis9ed that the applicants have disclosed suBcient cause for seeking extension of time. The material placed on record indicates that the process for formulation of a comprehensive policy has already been initiated and is under consideration at various administrative levels. The explanation furnished by the applicants appears to be bona 9de and there is nothing on record to indicate that the delay is deliberate or intentional. 4. Accordingly, the present Miscellaneous Civil Case is allowed. 4 5. The time granted by this Court under the order dated 11.04.2025 passed in W.P.(S) No. 2480/2025 for compliance of the directions contained therein is hereby extended by a further period of six (06) months from the date of this order. 6. It is expected that the applicants shall complete the entire exercise within the aforesaid extended period and ensure faithful compliance of the directions contained in the order dated 11.04.2025, without seeking any further extension except for compelling and unavoidable reasons. 7.
