Heard Mr. Rajeev Shrivastava, learned Senior Advocate assisted by Ms. Purva Jain, learned counsel for the petitioners. Also heard Mr. Ashish Shukla, learned Additional Advocate General, appearing for the State/respondents. 2. The present petition has been filed by the petitioners under Article 226 of the Constitution of India with the following prayers :- “i. That, this Hon'ble Court may kindly be pleased to direct the respondents to ensure and grant necessary police protection to the petitioners to safeguard their life, liberty, and security against any form of threats, intimidation, unnecessary police harassment, or unlawful pressure. ii. That, this Hon'ble Court may kindly be pleased to direct the respondents to ensure an impartial investigation into any complaint regarding the Petitioner's building construction contracts, duly considering available contracts, payment records, consumer disputes, civil proceedings. iii. That, this Hon'ble Court may kindly be pleased to direct the respondents to take a fair decision in accordance with the law regarding the Petitioner's complaint dated 11/06/2026 and 21/07/2026 initiate necessary legal action. iv. That, this Hon'ble Court may kindly be pleased to direct the respondents to consolidate and investigate all the complaints lodged against the petitioners with respect to building construction disputes and such 3 investigation be directed to be done by a higher- ranking police official. v. Any other relief, which this Hon'ble Court deems fit and proper, may also kindly be granted to the petitioners, in the interest of justice.” 3. After arguing at some length, learned Senior Advocate, appearing on behalf of the petitioners seeks permission of this Court to withdraw the instant petition with liberty to approach appropriate forum for redressal of their grievances. 4.
