1. Affidavit of service filed on behalf of petitioner is taken on record.
2. Learned advocate representing petitioner alleges intimidation and threat by respondent nos. 8 to 11 as a result whereof petitioner is unable to lead normal life and her minor girl is obstructed from attending school.
3. Complaint was lodged on 7th July, 2026 before the concerned police authority but according to petitioner no steps have been taken by the police authorities.
4. State respondents and respondent nos. 8 to 11 are represented by learned advocates.
5. Learned advocate representing State respondents has filed a communication dated
2 10th August, 2026 of Officer-in-Charge, Tarakeswar Police Station, Hooghly and same is taken on record. Copies of said communication are made over to the learned advocates representing petitioner and respondent nos. 8 to 11.
6. It is disclosed in the said communication that taking note of complaint of the petitioner dated 7th July, 2026 an FIR was registered being Tarakeswar Police Station case no. 425 of 2026 dated 8th August, 2026. In view of registration of FIR concerned police authorities are directed to investigate the case and submit report before the jurisdictional Magistrate in accordance with law.
7. Concerned police authorities are also directed to provide protection to the petitioner, if occasion so arises.
8. Writ petition stands disposed of.
