Sheikh, the learned counsel appearing on behalf of the petitioners. Mr. A. Bhattacharyya, the learned counsel appears for the respondent No.1 and Mr. H. Sarmah, the learned counsel appears for the respondent Nos.2 & 3. 2. It is the case of the petitioners that the father of the petitioners had purchased 25 bighas 2 kathas 10 lechas of land by the registered Deed of Sale bearing Deed No.1539 dated 04.04.1970. 3. It is the further the case of the petitioners that the petitioners had submitted an application for mutation after the death of the petitioners’ father in the year 1997 by submitting an application on 25.04.2024 and the said application having not been considered, the petitioners have approached this Court. 4. Mr. H. Sarmah, the learned counsel appearing on behalf of the respondent Nos.2 & 3 submitted that if the petitioners wish that their names should be mutated, it is the requirement of law that they have to file the application online which having not Page No.# 4/4 been done, the respondent Nos.2 & 3 cannot act upon such application which has been enclosed as Annexure-6 to the writ petition. 5. Mr. M. A. Sheikh, the learned counsel appearing on behalf of the petitioners submitted that the petitioners would apply through the online mode seeking mutation. 6. Taking into account the above, this Court therefore is of the opinion that no effective writ can be issued in the instant proceedings, however, grants liberty to the petitioners to apply through the online mode seeking mutation of the land, if so advised. 7.
