JUSTICE ANU SIVARAMAN) The writ petition is filed seeking for the following reliefs: “WHEREFORE, the petitioner above named humbly prays that this Hon’ble Court be pleased to: a) Issue a appropriate WRIT, in the nature of Habeas Corpus or any other appropriate WRIT directing the Respondents to present the body of M Guna, the petitioner's husband in front of the court. b) To Pass such other order or orders as may be directed by this Hon'ble Court under the facts and circumstances of the case.” 2. When the matter was taken up today, though, the office objections had not been complied with, learned SPP-I who appears on behalf of the respondents submits that the facts stated in the writ petition are not correct - 3 - HC-KAR CNR: KAHC010557152026 NC: 2026:KHC:42377-DB WPHC No. 82 of 2026 and that the petitioner’s husband was not arrested or apprehended on 03.08.2026 by any Officer attached to the Sarjapura Police Station. 3. It is further submitted that the petitioner’s husband has, as a matter of fact, been arrested in connection with Crime No.355/2026 registered in the Hebbagodi Police Station, and that he was arrested on 10.08.2026 at 2.00 p.m and is being produced before the jurisdictional Magistrate today. 4.
