The present criminal application is filed on behalf of the applicant/appellant praying for condonation of delay of 152 days in filing the Criminal Appeal against conviction. 2. The appellant was convicted on 24.04.2025 by the learned Sessions Judge, Chadrapur in Sessions Case No.64 of 2022 for the offence punishable under Section 302 of the Indian Penal Code, 1860 and was sentenced to suffer rigorous imprisonment for life. The applicant has submitted that he is in jail since the registration of FIR, i.e., from 16.02.2022. 3. In view of the aforesaid facts, the movement of the applicant is restricted, coupled with the fact that the applicant and his family members belong to a poor strata and have a weak economical condition, the present appeal could not be filed unless it was allotted to the 2 110. In view of the above, in our considered opinion, the applicant has made out a sufficient cause for the delay of 152 days in filing the present Criminal Appeal. Thus, for the reasons aforesaid and the reasons mentioned in the application, delay of 152 days in filing the Criminal Appeal is accordingly condoned. 5. Criminal Application is disposed of. 6.
