Affidavit of service, as filed, be kept with the record. 2. The petitioner is aggrieved that she has not been given compassionate appointment after the death of her husband, who died in harness while rendering service as a work assistant, sometime in June 2021. 3. The ground on which such appointment has been refused is that the petitioner did not make the application in the prescribed format and the application made was devoid of the undertaking as specified in the notification no. 251-EMP dated December 3, 2013. 4. In view of the aforesaid submission, the petitioner is directed to make a fresh application complete with all undertakings and in all other respects as required of her. 5. In fact, to facilitate the process, Mr. Mukherjee, learned Advocate for the State, has handed over a bunch of documents to the petitioner in Court today, which include the proforma of the application and the undertaking to be furnished by the petitioner. I direct the petitioner to file the application in the prescribed format along with the undertaking by September 10, 2026, with the concerned authority who will consider the same in accordance with law and dispose of the same by September 30, 2026. 7. With the afore-stated directions, WPA/19915/2026 is disposed of. No order as to costs. 8. Urgent Photostat Certified Copy of this order, be given to the parties, if applied for, on priority basis.
