Facts in brief, germane, are as follows: The petitioner is the husband, respondent, the wife. The petitioner - husband is 73 years and is said to be suffering from ailments relating to age and the wife is 65 years old. The two have a marital discord at this young age. The marital discord revolves around a financial issue of ₹5,000/- demanded by the wife and not given by the husband and also had allegedly assaulted the wife. Therefore, the crime is registered and the police in this case even have filed a charge sheet, after thorough investigation into the matter. 4. Learned counsel for the parties to the lis would submit that today both the husband and the wife are happily living and that they would happily live ever after.
