Learned advocate appearing for the petitioner submits petitioner is in custody for 1 year and 6 months and there has been no recovery from the present petitioner and has been detained unnecessarily on the basis of statement of co-accused. Learned advocate for the State submits that petitioner fled away from the spot. The report submitted by the State also reflects that there are 3 antecedents of the present petitioner being Kaliachak PS Case No. 142 of 2025, Kaliachak PS Case No. 111 of 2022 and Kaliachak PS Case No. 667 of 2018. Having considered the antecedents of the present petitioner and the subject matter of the case, I am not inclined to release the petitioner on bail. 2 Accordingly, CRM (NDPS) 1476 of 2026 is dismissed.
