CWP-21101-2026 2 application for renewal of passport, this Court called upon learned counsel for the petitioner to refer to the application submitted before the competent authority. However, learned counsel was unable to point out any document evidencing that a valid application for renewal of passport had, in fact, been submitted by the petitioner before the competent authority. He merely referred to certain mobile messages purportedly received from the authorities, which are wholly insufficient to enable this Court to ascertain whether any such application is pending consideration or has already been finally decided.
4. In the absence of the requisite material necessary for adjudication of the grievance raised in the petition, no case for issuance of the yearned-for direction is made out. Consequently, the writ petition is dismissed.
