After arguing for a while, learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the petitioner would feel satisfied in case the instant petition is disposed of with a direction to respondent No.2 to treat the same as a representation on behalf of the petitioner and decide the same within a reasonable time frame, strictly in terms of the law laid down by Hon’ble the Supreme Court in the judgment titled “Maniyar Iliyaz @ Shaik Riyaz & Anr. Vs. P. Ayyappan and Ors”. 2. Mr. Alla-Ud-Din Ganai, learned AAG, vice Mr. Mohsin-ul-Showkat Qadiri, learned Sr. AAG, who has caused appearance on behalf of the respondents, is not averse to disposal of the writ petition in the manner proposed by learned counsel for the petitioner. 3. In view of the innocuous prayer made by learned counsel for the petitioner and with the consent of learned counsel appearing for the parties, this Court deems it appropriate to dispose of the instant writ petition with a direction to respondent No.2 to treat the same as a representation on behalf of the petitioner and consider and decide the same within a period of four weeks from the date a copy of this order, along with the writ petition and annexures, is made available to him, strictly in light of the law laid down by Hon’ble the Supreme Court in the case titled “Maniyar Iliyaz @ Shaik Riyaz & Anr. Vs. P. Ayyappan and Ors.” and “In Re: Directions in the Matter of Demolition of Structures”, Writ Petition (Civil) No. 295 of 2022. 4.
