The present petition has been filed under Section 528 of the Bharatiya Nagarik Suraksha Sanhita, 2023 (corresponding to Section 482 of the Code of Criminal Procedure, 1973), seeking quashing of the order dated 07.04.2026, passed by learned Court of Additional Chief Judicial Magistrate, Tarn Taran vide which petitioner has been declared proclaimed offender in FIR No.99 dated 15.05.2022 under Sections 279, 337, 338, 427 of IPC (Sections 281, 125(A), 125(B), 324(4) of BNS) at police station Sadar Tarn Taran, District Tarn Taran. 2. After arguing for some time, learned counsel for the petitioner submits that he does not want to press the present petition at this stage.
