By way of this petition, the petitioner seeks the following reliefs : a. Issue an appropriate writ, order or direction directing Respondent No. 1, i.e., the Learned Micro and Small Enterprises Facilitation Council (MSEFC), Chhattisgarh, to expeditiously decide the pending Claim Petition No. ED- 2026-0014477 of 2026 filed by the Petitioner under Section 18 of the Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises Development Act, 2006, within a time-bound period as may be fixed by this Hon'ble Court. b. Pass any other order(s) or direction(s) as this Hon'ble Court may deem fit and proper in the interest of justice. 2. At the outset, learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the reference/claim petition filed before Respondent No.1-Micro and Small Enterprises Facilitation Council (MSEFC) remains pending despite expiration of the statutory period. She makes a limited prayer to dispose of this petition with a direction to respondent No.1 to decide the subject claim case within a stipulated period. 3. At this stage, learned counsel for the State submits that in view of Section 18(5) of of the Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises Development Act, 2006, every dispute made to the MSEFC ought to be decided within a period of 90 days from the date of reference. 4. Considering the limited prayer made by learned counsel for the 3 petitioner, without entering into the merits of the case, this Petition is disposed of with a direction to respondent No.1 to consider and decide the pending subject claim petition/reference in accordance with law, expeditiously, preferably within a period of 45 days from the date of receipt of a copy of this order, taking into account that the statutory period under Section 18(5) of the Act, 2006, has already elapsed. 5.
