Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that Revenue Case No. 202207103000062, filed for correction of the map and area relating to the concerned Khasra Nos., has been pending adjudication before the Tahsildar, Durg, District Durg (Chhattisgarh) since the year 2021–2022 and remains undecided till date. 3. On the other hand, learned counsel appearing for the State submits that since the matter relates to the year 2021–2022, the same may have already been decided by the concerned authority. 4. Having heard learned counsel for the parties and upon careful consideration of the facts and circumstances of the case, this Court finds that the grievance of the petitioner is confined to the pendency of Revenue Case No. 202207103000062, which is stated to be pending consideration before the learned Tahsildar, Durg, District Durg (Chhattisgarh) since the year 2021–2022. Since the proceedings are stated to be pending for a considerable period and no adjudication appears to have taken place till date, this Court deems it appropriate to issue a direction for expeditious consideration and disposal of the said proceedings. 5. Accordingly, the concerned Tahsildar, namely, Tahsildar, Durg, District Durg (Chhattisgarh), is directed to verify the status of the aforesaid revenue case and, if the same has not already been decided, to proceed further and decide the matter on its own 4 merits, in accordance with law, after affording due opportunity of hearing to all concerned parties. The aforesaid exercise shall be completed preferably within a period of 45 days from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. 6. It is made clear that this Court has not expressed any opinion on the merits of the claim of either of the parties, and the concerned authority shall decide the matter independently in accordance with the applicable provisions of law. 7. With this observation and direction, this petition stands disposed of. Sd/- (Amitendra Kishore Prasad) Judge U.K. Raju
