Mr. N.D. Chullai, learned AAG has tendered a letter dated 5th June, 2026, issued by the Block Development Officer & Programme Officer, MGNREGS Selsella C&RD Block, West Garo Hills. The said letter is taken on record. From the said letter it appears that the office has no objection to the appellant/writ petitioner contesting the VEC election. 3. In view of the aforesaid, the order issued by the Block Development Officer & Programme Officer, MGNREGS Selsella C&RD Block, West Garo Hills dated 25th May, 2026, barring and disqualifying the appellant/writ petitioner from contesting the forthcoming Sobribari VEC election, stands quashed and set aside. 2026:MLHC:532-DB 4.
