Heard Mr. Niranjoy, learned counsel appearing for the applicant. The present application has been filed with a prayer for condoning the delay of 503 days in filing the accompanying Criminal Appeal against the judgment and order dated 08.08.2024 and order of sentence dated 09.08.2024 passed by the Ld. Sessions Court, Bishnupur District in Sessions Trial Case No. 8 of 2022. Mr. Y. Ashang, learned senior counsel and PP assisted by Mr. Y. Robert, learned Deputy GA appearing for the respondents submitted that he has no objection in allowing the present condonation application and to heard the connected Criminal Appeal on merit. is sufficient ground for condoning the delay. Accordingly, the present application is allowed by condoning the delay of 503 days in filing the said Criminal Appeal. Registry is directed to number the accompanying Criminal Appeal and to list it for admission hearing if the same is otherwise found to be in order. With the aforesaid direction, the present application stands disposed of.
