The Petitioner, intending to establish a Stone Crusher Unit at Nipora, Mirbazar, Anantnag, claims to have applied to Respondent No.2- Deputy Commissioner, Anantnag with an application on 27th of October, 2025 for issuance of the NOCs required in terms of Section 3 of the Government Notification dated 23rd of February, 2021 (SO 60) issued by the Department of Mining, Government of Jammu & Kashmir, however, despite processing the said application, no order has been passed by the Respondent-Deputy Commissioner so far. 02. The learned Counsel appearing for the Petitioner submits that the Petitioner shall feel satisfied in case the present Petition is disposed of with a direction to the Respondents to consider the application of the Petitioner for grant of the requisite NOCs and decide the same within some reasonable timeframe. 03. Having regard to the nature of relief prayed for and given the submissions made by the learned Counsel for the Petitioner, the instant Petition is disposed of with a direction to the Respondents to decide the application stated to have been filed by the Petitioner for grant of NOC with respect to establishment of the aforesaid Stone Crusher Unit in accordance with law, expeditiously, preferably within a period of six weeks from today. 04.
