Though the petitioners have sought for quashment of the proceedings, the alternate prayer is seeking expeditious disposal of the case before the concerned Court. 5. In the light of the prayer being innocuous and the issue being of the year 2016, I deem it appropriate to accept - 4 - HC-KAR NC: 2026:KHC:18895 CRL.P No. 3167 of 2026 the request of the petitioners and infuse finality into the proceedings. 6. The concerned Court shall make endeavor to conclude the proceedings within an outer limit of three months from the date of receipt of the copy of the order, if not earlier. Ordered accordingly.
