31/07/2026 D/L – 55 Court No.35 S. Kundu C.R.M.(A) 1668 of 2026 In Re: An application for anticipatory bail under Section 482 of the BNSS, 2023. In connection with Berhampore P.S. Case No. 610 of 2026 dated 26/04/2026 under sections 329(4)/331(7)/117(2)/118(2)/109(1)/64(1)/62/74/303(2) /324(4)/351(3)/61(2)/3(5) of the BNS. In the matter of: Sandip Halder …Petitioner. Mr. Ayan Bhattacharyya Mr. J.I. Hossain …for the petitioner. Ms. Priti Kar Bagchi …for the State. Learned advocate appearing for the petitioner submits that the petitioner has been falsely implicated in the instant case because of political rivalry which would be reflected from the initiation and registration of the FIR of the case is concerned. Learned advocate for the de-facto complainant opposes the prayer for anticipatory bail. Learned advocate for the State has produced the case diary and drawn the attention of the Court to the injury report as well as the statement of injured. Having considered the present case regarding the injury suffered and the petitioner being named by the injured for vital overtact, I am of the view that this is not a fit case to grant anticipatory bail to the petitioner. Accordingly, CRM(A) 1668 of 2026 is dismissed. 2 Pending application, if any, is disposed of accordingly. All parties shall act on the basis of the server copy of this order duly downloaded from the official website of this Court. (Tirthankar Ghosh, J.)
