By way of this writ petition, the petitioner has, inter alia, prayed for the following reliefs:- “I. That the retirement order dated 25-7-2025 (Annexure P-4) be quashed and set aside. II. That the respondents may be directed to reinstate 1Whether reporters of the local papers may be allowed to see the judgment? 2 2026:HHC:12121 the petitioner and to allow him to continue in service till the age of 60 years or to provide two years benefits to the petitioner as the petitioner was superannuated on 31.07.2025 at the age of 58 years.” 3. In light of the fact that the issue raised by the petitioner in this petition is pending adjudication before the Hon’ble Supreme Court of India, as agreed, this writ petition is disposed of with the direction that the parties shall abide by the final judgment passed by Hon’ble Supreme Court of India in Satya Devi’s case.
